Begin your visit to the Colosseum through the Gladiators’ Gate, the historic passage once used by ancient fighters before stepping onto the arena. Entry is included and coordinated by your licensed guide as part of the scheduled tour. From these upper tiers, take in sweeping views of the amphitheater and gain insight into its impressive scale and design. Your guide will explain the traditions of gladiatorial combat, the social hierarchy of Roman spectators, and the historical context behind the construction and legacy of the Colosseum.

If the names do not match, entry to the Colosseum will be denied, and no refund will be possible. Access to the Sites You must enter the Colosseum at the time indicated on your ticket.       What to bring
        • Comfortable Footwear: Wear comfortable shoes as the Colosseum has uneven surfaces. During hot weather, we recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses for protection.
        • Water & Snacks: Stay hydrated. Snacks are allowed, but eating inside the Colosseum is not permitted.
        • Camera: The Colosseum offers incredible photo opportunities, so be sure to bring a camera or smartphone.
