We will start from Via Candia to reach St. Peter’s Square full of masterpieces of great value, such as the Vatican obelisk, the double colonnade by the Baroque sculptor Bernini and of course the Basilica of which I will tell you the story from Roman times to the present day. I will reveal the symbolic and Christological aspects and also small curiosities. We will continue along Via della Conciliazione, revealing the meaning of this great modern avenue, until we reach Castel Sant’Angelo, the ancient mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian transformed into a fortress, prison and papal residence.
